The Rap Industry's Sound [by mikebee2000]

General Posts:: The Rap Industry's Sound
AAHHH! the ever so changing sound of "rap". Are we headed in the direction of fingersnapping music. For Example the Franchize Boyz with their low low bass driven songs and high volumed finger snaps. Back in the, and I'm speaking from a producer stand point, it used to be about who had the best snare drums, then it went to kiks, then band kiks ect. So the sound of rap is changing right before us and I for one am keeping with or changing with the times strictly because i want to sell units. As a Platinum producer I still often go back to my roots of how I used to make my tracks but now-a-days it's about catching that ear instead of my old style of "Houston Scare Facey sounding Tracks" Holla Back!!!
